The VISIA Complexion Analysis system provides a 3 dimensional analysis of your skin, in order to determine the damage caused by the sun, and by aging. It also gives an estimation of what your skin will look like in 5-7 years younger or older. It therefore provides physicians with the data they need to arrive at the best treatment option for your skin.
How does it work?
VISIA is fitted with a rotating capture module that scans the skin, and captures specific visual information from different angles. It does a multi-spectral analysis of the skin in order to assess the following – texture, wrinkles, pore size, age spots, UV spots, evidence of bacteria, photo damage, and skin pigmentation, creating a complete complexion profile.
The images are uploaded to the system, and VISIA compares your results with those of individuals of a similar age, skin type, and gender. This provides a benchmark for the analysis, and your physician can then prepare a skin rejuvenation program. The system will also track changes in your skin as the program progresses, and determine if any adjustments have to be made.
